Plastering Fīnālis!

After another mammoth day, the lounge room plastering is finished!
That completes all the areas upstairs. Whoop Whoop!!!! The most exciting thing though was watching the creation of our fireplace...it's going to be a beauty at just over two metres wide!
(The idea for it posted before, HERE & HERE)

Hopefully David can tave a few days R & R now...

  3. KL, I need to ask you an important question *shy*

What do you think of these nickel hurricane thingys?

The large ones are on sale at my local Freedom store for $79 each. I really like them... But will their suit our home? Will they suit the new buffet we ordered or are they way too traditional for it?

    1. Hi B! L O V E them!!!!
And yes, I think they'll suit your home as they are simple, classical and modern at the same time. I bought some of these (very similar) for our place a few summers ago from 'One World'. Not sure if they have a distributor in SA? They were nickle plated too (though not Freedom brand) and have gone YUCKY in our marine air. DO NOT BUY if you have any salt air!!!!!! If inside, inland, they'll be fine....my friend in inner Sydney had NO problems. They're still exy on sale so I'm cautioning you...
